The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) will convene a two-day humanitarian policy workshop in conjunction with the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa

The event will bring together NGOs with field experience in humanitarian and development work and policy experts with an interest in the future of humanitarian response and related areas. The workshop will cover a range of topics of interest to the region and will work to identify challenges to enhancing local capacity to respond to humanitarian crises.

There are a limited number of spaces available and participation is open to NGOs, think tanks and Universities based in Southern and Eastern Africa. OCHA will cover travel and expenses for select participants. If you are interested in attending, please contact Daniel Gilman (Gilmand@un.org).
