RedR UK - Personal Security for Humanitarians

Proper training is one of the essential tools to ensure your own safety. If you have not had any security training and are working, or soon to be deployed to an insecure environment, then this is a crucial course for you. This highly participatory and intensive course will help you better understand your role in a given context. RedR has unrivalled strengths and experience in security training, and is the only UK charity providing this for the humanitarian sector.
Registration and timings
The first two days of the course will take place at the RedR training centre in Vauxhall, London. Accommodation is not provided on these nights.
Registration will take place from 8.30 hrs on the first day and training will start at 9.00 hrs and finish at 17.30 hrs on the first two days.
On day 3 of the course, we will leave the RedR training centre in the morning, at 7.00 hrs, and travel as a group to Worcestershire. Transport will be provided by RedR, and the remainder of the course is residential. On the final day, training will finish by 16.30 hrs, and transport back to RedR in London will be provided for those who require it.
