UN-Habitat invites local government representatives to submit expressions of interest to participate in a four-year programme to develop the City Resilience Profiles. There will be 10 partner cities selected out of all applicants to pilot a new integrated urban planning and management model to help cities build resilience against disasters.

Local government representatives who wish to apply should already be engaged in the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR ) Making Cities Resilient Campaign, or UN-Habitat's World Urban Campaign. The extended deadline for submissions is 20th January 2013.

Please find more information and details on how to apply on the UN-Habitat website.
