To support Save the Children UK to deliver high quality, innovative and impactful child protection programmes through the generation and dissemination of evidence and best practice, consolidation of learning and global monitoring and reporting of key indicators and programme outcomes.

. Improve and strengthen the collection and systematic sharing of good practice in child protection programming in order to deliver more effectively for children and their communities.

. Support Save the Children UK to deliver high quality, innovative and impactful programmes through generation and spreading of evidence and best practice, consolidation of organisational learning and global monitoring and evaluation of our programmes.

. Support and strengthen the capacity of Save the Children staff to design, manage and deliver child protection programmes which have data generation and use built in from the outset and which use these data to adapt and improve the programme as well as to inform others. This will include (but is not limited to) the use of logical framework analysis to support project/programme design, monitoring and evaluation, identifying evaluation questions; selecting appropriate data collecting and analysing methods; ensuring the alignment of programme characteristics and evaluation questions and addressing how best to report and communicate findings.

. Contribute to writing proposals for externally funded evaluations and to participate in delivering successful bids.
