Objectives: Collect and analyse lessons learned from peacebuilding during the 1990s, give guidance to Sida in developing policies and methodology and promote institutional learning.

Focus: Conflict management, peacebuilding, gender equality, conflict resolution.

Criteria: Appropriateness, coherence, connectedness, flexibility, impact, cost-effectiveness.

Comments: The report is based on a bibliographic survey of the state of the art in peacebuilding project evaluation, an annotated bibliography and five separately authored case studies attached as annexes.
