This report aims to offer a synthesis of the findings, conclusions, and recommendations of three country-level evaluations in the Central African Republic (CAR), Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Sudan undertaken as part of the Evaluation of Common Humanitarian Funds (CHFs) in the last three months of 2010. The CHFs are pools of un-earmarked funds made available at the country level for UN agencies and NGOs that have taken part in the Consolidated Appeal Process. CHFs are part of the overall humanitarian reform initiative and aim to support cluster coordination and stronger humanitarian leadership.
