Evaluation quality reviews

Since 2001, ALNAP has attempted to monitor the quality of evaluation reports of humanitarian action through its annual meta-evaluation, which is published as part of ALNAP’s Review of Humanitarian Action series.

The meta-evaluation is carried out by two consultants, who independently rate a set of evaluation reports against the ALNAP Quality Pro Forma. The Quality Pro Forma is ALNAP’s evaluation-assessment tool, based on recognised evaluation standards and desirable qualities unique to evaluation of humanitarian action.
