ResourcesAs a sector-wide network, one of ALNAP’s key contributions to the sector is its collaborative approach to producing tools, resources and analyses drawing on the experiences and expertise of its members, and making these available to the humanitarian sector at large. The Evaluative Reports Database (ERD) offers access to evaluative reports of humanitarian action, submitted by humanitarian organisations, in order to ensure experiences and learning are shared across the humanitarian sector. To promote the quality of evaluation, ALNAP has developed, in collaboration with Channel Research, training material on the evaluation of humanitarian action, as a means of sharing knowledge and good practice identified through its research activities. ALNAP developed the Quality Proforma as a tool for assessing the quality of evaluation reports in ALNAP’s meta-evaluation, featured in the Review of Humanitarian Action series.
