M&E Advisor for HoA and GL region / East&Central Africa

The M&E Advisor will support Emergency M&E Coordinators and staff at Country Office (CO) level in their efforts to develop an appropriate monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system, adapt and implement data collection and analysis tools, mechanisms and systems based on a coherent monitoring framework.
The M&E Advisor will be deployed in the regional office in Nairobi to provide support to 6 COs for a period of 6 weeks. The priority will be defined by the Regional Humanitarian Coordinator in consultation with the sub-regional Emergency Coordinators and the COs. At least 3 COs will be visited during the deployment period.
By the end of the deployment of the M&E Advisor, CO specific and functioning monitoring processes will be agreed on that support timely decision making by senior managers and that the CO Emergency M&E coordinators / units can improved over time.

The deploment is expected to start on 1. October 2017.
