West Point, one of the most densely populated slums in Liberia's capital city of Monrovia, was hard hit by the recent Ebola outbreak. Already struggling with issues such as overpopulation, squalid living conditions and poverty, the entirety of the West Point township was quarantined for a period of time when the Ebola epidemic was at its peak. Now, after the World Health Organization declared the epidemic over, West Point is still struggling to regain any sense of normalcy.
