TAHTA together with CWG (City Working Group) of Semarang City would like to
express deep appreciation for the cooperation and trust given by Mercy Corps
Indonesia. This activity is one form of support to Semarang City as one of the pilot
cities in the ACCCRN (Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network) program,
which was initiated by the Rockefeller Foundation (RF) and ISET (Institute for Social
and Environmental Transformation).

This document is a plan for Semarang City in order to adapt to the pressures and
shocks that may occur as a result of climate change. This document is not exclusive
in the context of planning for the city because its formulation and format has been
synergized with the substances of Semarang’s Medium Term Development Plan
(RPJM). The final section of this document can be an inspiration for agencies in
Semarang City about how they can contribute to climate change adaptation activities.
This document is not a static document as this can be quickly adjusted with
additional scenarios that may occur.
