How do I use Evalmapper? (Video demo)

The ALNAP Secretariat has prepared a video tutorial covering the functionality of Evalmapper here.

I don't see my evaluation in Evalmapper. How can I find it?

ALNAP is currently in the process of tagging its evaluation evidence base in the HELP Library to ensure that it can be used for Evalmapper. Evaluations from the HELP Library in Evalmapper currently date back to at least 2017, and the entire back catalogue of evaluations in the library will be added by early 2021.

However, Evalmapper relies on the ALNAP Membership and beyond to ensure that an adequate evidence base exists.

In case you would like to add an evaluation to Evalmapper, then please submit the evaluation through the form here.

I'm looking for a specific evaluation. How can I find it through Evalmapper?

Evalmapper is a tool built to support your search for existing evidence by region and by category, highlighting in a visual format the evaluations and evidence available.

If you are searching for a specific evaluation, then we recommend you use the advanced search in ALNAP's HELP Library, which allows you to search for a specific evaluation using more extensive criteria.

Where can I find COVID-19 evaluations?

Please visit ALNAP's COVID-19 Response Portal to see all COVID-19 related resources from the HELP Library and use the search function to filter for evaluations.

We are exploring further tagging options to allow for the identification of COVID-19 evaluations in Evalmapper, so please stay tuned for future updates.

How do I find global evaluations?

To search for global evaluations which are neither bound nor connected with a particular country or region, we recommend that you use the advanced search of ALNAP's HELP Library to search more specifically with a global criteria.

How are regions determined?

The regions used in Evalmapper have been selected solely with the aim of creating the most purposeful regions for evaluation searches. This has been done by using the United Nations geoscheme as a foundation and making adaptations to those to aid evaluation searches.
