This report evaluates the response of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and the Humanitarian Coalition (CH) to the two earthquakes which hit Nepal on 25 April and on 12 May 2015. Taking into consideration the challenges of the operating environment in Nepal, the report evaluates the priority areas, gaps and unmet needs of the response; its relevance and reach; the coordination with the government and the clusters, as well as the partnerships with local NGOs; and the communication with disaster-affected communities.

The principle activity for this review was a 12-day visit by the review team to Districts affected by the earthquake, which took place 2-14 August 2015.
