The Metro Manila Map Viewer has four distinct components:
• The Table of Contents (TOC) is a folder structure composed of data layers, data symbols (icons), links to metadata, etc. The TOC allows the user to choose what is displayed in the map view.
• The Map displays the choice of data layers active in the TOC, and can be modified using a variety of tools in the Toolbar. The area beneath the Map displays various attributes of the data layers when specific tools are used.
• The Toolbar offers numerous options to interact with the Map and the Data Layers. Several tools are used for navigation purposes (zoom, pan, etc.), while others are used to measure distance, perform queries, display additional information about the data layers, etc.
• Data Attributes: This section displays the attribute (tabular) information associated with each layer. This information is accessed using the Identify tool.
